IS A LICENSE REQUIRED?

16. TO DO SCREEN REPAIR? No license is required. May not involve any type of repair or modification to the aluminum structure.

17. TO DO PRESSURE WASHING? No license is required.

18. TO REPAIR ROTTEN FASCIA AND SOFFIT? If materials used are vinyl or aluminum, then a minimum of an Aluminum Unlimited license is required. If the materials used are wood, then a minimum of a Class ‘‘C’’ Residential Contractor’s license is required for a single-family residence. A minimum of a Class ‘‘A’’ or ‘‘B’’ license is required for a commercial structure.

19. TO DO TRIM CARPENTRY? No license is required.

20. TO INSTALL CARPET OR FLOOR COVERINGS? No license is required.

21. TO INSTALL NON – STRUCTURAL INTERIOR WALL PANELING? No license is required.

22. TO INSTALL SHELVING? No license is required.

23. TO REMOVE POPCORN TEXTURE FROM CEILINGS AND REFINISH CEILING? No license is required.

24. TO INSTALL CABINETS? No license is required.

25. TO REPAIR FAUCETS OR TOILETS? Master Plumber license is required.

26. TO INSTALL CEILING FANS? If the ceiling fan is to be plugged into an existing electrical outlet, then no license is required. If new wiring is to be installed or if the ceiling fan is to be connected to existing electrical wires, a Master Electrician license is required.

27. TO INSTALL OR MAINTAIN IRRIGATION SYSTEMS? As of this date, no license is required to install irrigation systems on residential or commercial lots. 28. To do Concrete or Masonry? A local license is offered for both of these trades. A Class ‘‘A’’ or ‘‘B’’ on Commercial or Class ‘‘C’’ on residential also may do concrete. Aluminum unlimited or Swimming Pool Contractors also can within the scope of those prospective licenses.
