We are looking to hire another Handyman!

The Handy Brit is a successful Handyman business, using the highest quality tools and providing exceptional quality (Read some of the reviews). I currently have more business than I can handle and looking for the right person to join our team.  Working both as an assistant and also performing your own jobs, with the opportunity to grow with the company, providing a high earnings potential.  

High quality skilled workers are in short supply.  As long as people own homes and businesses they need Handymen, resulting in great job security. Fewer people are going into the industry resulting in more opportunities and higher wages.

Job description

The higher your skill level the more responsibility you will have.  As a Handyman the range of jobs is huge. The main focus is general repairs, maintenance, and cosmetic upgrades.

Here are some of the more common jobs you will perform.

• Wood, laminate and vinyl flooring

• Instal trim, baseboards, crown molding etc

• Tile work

• Carpentry

• Painting

• Mounting item such as TV’s, pictures, mirrors, shelving, grab bars

• Pressure washing

Job requirements

• You have to be very Handy, a problem solver and quick thinker

• Own suitable reliable transport & drivers license
• Have a good selection of tools

• Able to pass drugs test and background check
• Physically fit, the job requires strength and endurance

The right candidate will

• Dress smart and appropriate for work, (polo shirt, smart shorts or pants and work boots)

• Have good attention to detail

• Honest with a good attitude and motivated

• Able to follow instructions

• Have a likable personality and be confident with customers

Pay

Starting pay is $20/hour if you have a serviceable vehicle and tools. Once you are capable of performing the expected level of work independently you will be given a percentage of the job and should average $30+/hour.
